Ethiopia Guji Mulish

Ethiopia Guji Mulish

$18.50Price

Mulish is a washing station located in Danbi Uddo town in the Odo Shakisso district of Ethiopia’s Guji Zone. Here around 900 small-holder farmers bring their coffee cherries to be processed and prepared for export. The Mulish washing station is managed by its founder, Faysel Abdosh, and is exported by Testi Coffee, a specialty coffee exporting group that together with Faysel, were some of the first to separate Guji coffees into their own classification by region.

Coffee from the Guji zone of Ethiopia is well known for its jammy and bright profiles. We’re finding this fully washed coffee to have a nice lemony-like citrus, with fig and plum notes that shine as the coffee cools, all while sipping a bit like a cup of an earl-grey black tea with a slice of lemon.

Roast: Light/Medium

Process: Fully Washed

Tasting Notes: Lemon Zest, Black Tea, Fig, Agave Nectar, Plum
