The Rianjagi coffee factory is located in Embu County on the eastern slopes of Mount Kenya. Along with Nyeri and Kirinyaga, these three coffee growing regions are connected as Kenya’s famous coffee belt. Rianjagi factory opened in 1976 and receives coffee from over 2,500 farmers in the area. A majority of the cooperative’s members are women, highlighting the crucial role women play in coffee production. This fully washed coffee showcases exciting floral and citrus sips.
