Mulish is a washing station in Danbi Uddo town, in the Odo Shakisso district of Ethiopia's Guji Zone, where around 900 small-holder farmers bring their coffee cherries to be processed and prepared for export. An heirloom varietal, grown at 1,800 to 1,950 masl, the cherries are de-pulped, rested in fermentation tanks, then washed clean and dried on raised beds - a process that gives Guji coffees their signature sparkle.

In the bag: Net Weight 12oz (340g) of locally roasted coffee.

In the cup: Lemon zest, black tea, fig, and agave nectar. Washed process, clear acidity, tea-like body.

Plain talk: Bright and citrusy up front, like a cup of Earl Grey with a slice of lemon, with a fig sweetness that comes through as it cools.

This one's for the tea drinkers who also love coffee.
