Sugar Leaf's Fall Seasonal Blend, Autumn's Ember, is back for its second year. This year's blend mixes a super smooth, fruit-forward natural process coffee with a washed, full-bodied chocolaty coffee. Together we've created a monster of flavors: apple cider, baking spices, milk chocolate, pomegranate, red pear, butterscotch, and honey. This was a fun blend to put together, mixing flavors on the cupping table in our best effort to concoct a blend to complement the season. We think we've hit the nail on the head, and we hope you find Autumn's Ember to be the perfect cup to slow down with on a cool, crisp autumn morning.
In the cup: When hot, this coffee is all chocolate. As it cools, the layers of sweetness unfold - butterscotch, honey, pomegranate. At room temp, it sips like apple cider. A washed and natural process blend, juicy acidity, full body.
Plain talk: starts rich and chocolatey, then turns sweeter and fruitier as it cools - like sipping actual apple cider by the time it's room temp. A cozy, fall-in-a-cup kind of coffee.
